Employee Contributions
|
For employees, medical coverage, contribution
rates, and available insurance carriers are based on the county
in which they live or work. An employee may choose their level of
coverage whether it be single, couple, parent plus, or family.
An employee may also elect to waive health insurance coverage and
have the employer contribution put into a tax-deferred health care
spending account. Employees are eligible to participate if they
are regular full-time or a retiree under age 65. Some regular part-time
employees are also eligible to participate.
Rates are subject to change each year at open enrollment (January
1st).
Plan year January 1st - December 31st.

KCTCS personnel system. There are also two different schedules based

temporary positions.
