1938: College established independently as Ashland Junior College & Ashland Vocational School
1957: Ashland Junior College becomes UK Ashland Center
1963: UK Ashland Center becomes Ashland Community College (ACC)
1968: Ashland Area Vocational School moves from 3 locations in Ashland to consolidate at the current Roberts Drive Campus location
1990: Ashland State Vocational-Technical School moves from KY Dept of Education to newly created Kentucky Workforce Development Cabinet - Becomes Kentucky Tech Ashland Campus
1994: Kentucky Tech Ashland Campus becomes Ashland Regional Technology Center
1997: KY House Bill 1 creates KCTCS - Ashland Regional Technology Center becomes Ashland Technical College (ATC) ACC & ATC are under same umbrella
1998: January, ACC moves from UK to KCTCS governance. July, ATC moves from Commonwealth of Kentucky to KCTCS governance
2003: ACC & ATC are consolidated into Ashland Community & Technical College (ACTC)
