Despite our success, BGTC is vigilantly keeping an eye on the future. The economic landscape for business and industry is changing
rapidly, and new avenues of prosperity are opening every day. To stay ahead of such change, we are constantly forecasting the future
needs of students, communities, and businesses and industries to make sure we are ready with the programs and services they
need to succeed.
To do so, BGTC must supplement our traditional sources of public funding, which cannot keep pace with the demands of those we
serve or our vision of being the best two-year college in the South Central part of the country. The state appropriation to BGTC has
been cut dramatically, yet the demand for our programs and services has never been greater. Private support provides that critical
margin of difference between mediocrity and excellence.

"This is an opportunity that we have as businesses, as a community, to actually make this college a showpiece.
Let's give it our financial support. By doing that we will have better workers and a better community, and
everyone will get a benefit from that."
