Named Endowments


Named Scholarship Endowment - Minimum gift of $10,000
BGTC will name endowed scholarships to support students attending the College. Donors may designate the name, purpose, and criteria for the awarding of scholarships from the income generated by the endowment. Scholarship recipients will be selected by BGTC's scholarship committee. Scholarship endowments, depending on the level, will support partial up to full-tuition scholarships to one or more students at Bowling Green Technical College.


Named Restricted Endowment - Minimum gift of $10,000
BGTC will name restricted endowments to support faculty, staff, and student programs and services. Donors may designate the purpose of the endowment such as faculty/staff professional development, academic program support, instructional equipment, technology, or library.


Named Unrestricted Endowment - Minimum gift of $10,000
BGTC will name unrestricted endowments to support faculty, staff, and student programs and services. Unrestricted funds generated from endowments provide BGTC essential flexibility and responsiveness to unexpected opportunities and challenges.

Bowling Green Technical College - Glasgow Health Campus
The Glasgow Health campus has a rich history in the community of Glasgow and surrounding counties. It has been the catalyst for training of LPN's since 1957. The quality of educational instruction has been constant over the past 46 years. To date (May, 2003) 56 classes have graduated, making a total of 1903 graduates employed throughout Kentucky and other states.

Bowling Green Technical College - KATI Campus
A variety of naming opportunities will be available at the KATI campus of the Bowling Green Technical College. The 51,000-square-foot glass front facility is an educational icon in the community. It was the first high technology training facility in the state, providing specialized customerdriven education and training services on emerging and advanced technical processes.

South Regional Postsecondary Education Center in Glasgow
The construction of the South Regional Education Center in Glasgow exemplifies a partnership between KCTCS, BGTC, WKU and Glasgow/Barren County. The Center houses Bowling Green Technical College's Glasgow Technology Campus and Western Kentucky University's Glasgow Community College. This partnership is an example of institutions working together for the betterment of the Commonwealth. Technical programs and courses offered at the Center include Industrial Maintenance, Information Technology, Welding, HVAC and others. Many naming opportunities are available.
