College Conducts First Leadership Awareness Committee

The first Leadership Awareness gathering of the Bowling Green Technical College Fulfilling the Promise Campaign was held August 28th from 5:30-7:30 p..m. at the home of division chair, Jerry Baker. This phase of the campaign follows the completion of 90 executive awareness sessions conducted thus far by Dr. Thomas.

The purpose of the leadership awareness division is to acquaint 450 to 550 potential leaders and donors with the organization's case for support and to obtain their feedback and involvement. The gatherings are held in people's homes or businesses in a social atmosphere.

At the first meeting there were 12 in attendance and all six couples agreed to host a gathering in their home in the near future. Our second one has been scheduled for November 13th at the home of Donna and Jim Phillips. Ginger Travis, advanced culinary student prepares the food for each event, with the menu selected by the host/hostesses from a vast selection of hors d'oeuvre.
