Workforce development continues to drive communitybased training. For example, over 400 hours of computer training have been provided to 70 employees from 6 locations of Citizens Deposit Bank.

The 19,000 squarefoot MCTC Licking Valley Campus in Cynthiana opened in August 2002. More students have access to education and are trained as demonstrated by the 15% enrollment growth.

The MCTC Technical Center was dedicated in April 2003. Expanded facilities and new program equipment support the development of eight new technical programs meeting business and industry needs.

College leaders are continually cited for excellence. For example, Kenneth "Jamie" Brown, Vice President of MCTC, was recognized as the 2003 Educator of the Year by the MoreheadRowan County Chamber of Commerce.
