Promotion & Tenure Workshops

This workshop series is designed to prepare new faculty for the promotion and tenure process in accordance with KCTCS policies and procedures.

Purpose/Goal of the program:

The purpose of the workshop series is to provide a consistent template and guidelines which align with Board policy for new KCTCS faculty.

When It's Held:

May
Orientation of new faculty to promotion and tenure process

September
promotion packages to faculty
notification of training sessions to colleges and Academic Deans

October
regional training sessions scheduled
one day workshops held by trainers

Who Can/Should Apply/Participate:

All newly hired KCTCS faculty

Participant Obligations:

Attendance at all training sessions

Cost to Individual/Institution:

Funded by System grants
